Terms of Service

1. User Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or use Nabu Career.
• You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date credentials when signing up.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that take place under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at security@nabucareer.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

2. Ownership of User Content

You grant Nabu Career a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license solely for the technical operation required to format, preview, convert, and export your documents at your direction.

3. Subscriptions, 7-Day Free Trial & Billing Terms

• Subscription Tiers: Nabu Career offers Free Starter access alongside premium Pro subscriptions available in Quarterly ($12/mo billed $36/quarter), Monthly ($19/mo), Annual ($59/yr), and Lifetime ($149 single payment) plans.
• 7-Day Free Trial: For eligible new users, trial plans require upfront card authorization ($0.00 charge verification) to prevent fraud. You may cancel anytime before Day 7 inside your billing portal with zero charges incurred.
• Billing Processor: Payments are securely processed via Polar (Merchant of Record). All charges are denominated in USD unless local currency conversion applies.
• Cancellation & Self-Service Portal: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time with 1 click from Billing Settings via the Polar Customer Portal. Your Pro access remains active until the end of your current paid billing period.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the underlying source code of the Nabu Career platform.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data or bypass rate limiting safeguards.
• Share login accounts across multiple unauthorized persons or resell subscription access.
• Upload documents containing malicious code, viruses, or defamatory material.
• Abuse promotional referral rewards by creating fraudulent duplicate accounts.

5. AI Features & User Verification

Nabu Career integrates modern artificial intelligence (including Gemini and OpenAI APIs) to provide real-time suggestions, grammar enhancements, and XYZ formula bullet rewrites.

Because generative AI operates probabilistically, suggestions are provided as drafts for your editorial review. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all accomplishments, degrees, employment dates, and metrics on your final resume are 100% accurate, truthful, and genuine before submitting them to employers.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nabu Career and its officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of employment opportunities, hiring outcomes, profits, or data) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

While Nabu Career optimizes your resumes against current ATS standards, we do not guarantee employment, interview offers, or hiring outcomes from third-party employers.

7. Modifications & Termination

We reserve the right to modify these Terms to reflect changes in our service or legal obligations. We will notify active users of significant revisions via email or an in-app banner. Your continued use of Nabu Career after revisions take effect constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
