Question 1

How does the Nabu Career ATS Scanner calculate compatibility scores?

Accepted Answer

Our ATS engine compares your resume text against the target job description across 6 dimensions: hard technical keyword match rate, job title alignment, section structural hierarchy, quantifiable metrics density (%, $), active verb usage, and clean single-column readability. Scores above 80% indicate high likelihood of passing enterprise filters like Greenhouse and Workday.

Question 2

What is dual-acronym injection and why does it help?

Accepted Answer

Applicant Tracking Systems often search for either an abbreviation (e.g. 'AWS') or its spelled-out name ('Amazon Web Services'). Nabu Career automatically formats critical credentials in dual-acronym format (e.g. 'Amazon Web Services (AWS)', 'Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)') so you score 100% regardless of which search string the recruiter queries.

Question 3

Are all 10+ resume templates guaranteed ATS-safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every template is strictly built without background graphic layers, nested floating tables, or non-standard fonts that break ATS parsers. When exported via our headless PDF print pipeline, text streams embed standard Unicode glyphs that parse accurately in any applicant tracking system.

Question 4

What is the Google XYZ Formula and how does Nabu Career use it?

Accepted Answer

Popularized by Google's People Operations, the XYZ formula dictates: 'Accomplished [X], measured by [Y], by doing [Z]'. Rather than listing passive duties like 'responsible for code deployment', Nabu Career refactors your bullet into: 'Accelerated deployment velocity by 42% across 8 production services by architecting an automated CI/CD pipeline'.

Question 5

How does the zero-cost LinkedIn Profile AI Importer work?

Accepted Answer

You can export your official LinkedIn profile to PDF (More → Save to PDF) or paste your profile text. Nabu Career extracts your work history, degrees, and skills faithfully using our zero-hallucination career parsing model, pre-populating your resume builder in under 15 seconds.

Question 6

How does the 7-Day Free Trial work?

Accepted Answer

You can start a 7-Day Free Trial of Nabu Career Pro with full access to all 10+ templates, unlimited PDF exports, ATS job tailoring, and AI Copilot assistance. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing before day 7 with zero charge.

Question 7

Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You have full self-service control through our Polar customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing cycle, and you keep all exported PDFs forever.

Question 8

How does the Referral Program work and how do I earn 1 Month Free?

Accepted Answer

Every registered user has a unique referral link (available at /referrals). When a friend or colleague signs up using your link and attaches a valid payment method (e.g. starts their 7-day Pro trial), you immediately receive 30 free days added to your Pro subscription. You can earn up to 12 free months per year!

Question 9

Are my resumes indexed by Google or publicly searchable?

Accepted Answer

No. All candidate resumes are private by default. Even if you choose to enable web sharing via /r/[slug], we inject strict 'noindex, nofollow' metadata headers to guarantee search engines never index your personal contact info or career history.
